Birthday Books

Make your child’s birthday even more special and help the SMS Library, too! Donate to our Library in honor of your child’s birthday.

Here’s how you can support reading at SMS:

Make a financial contribution to the Library.
  AND
A. Choose a book for SMS to purchase to add to our collection.* You can use our Amazon Wish List for inspiration.
  OR
B. Ask SMS to choose a book to purchase.
  OR
C. Ask SMS to use the gift to support the library and put a name plate in an existing book in our collection.

Whether you choose a book or ask SMS to choose a book for you, a bookplate, recognizing your child, will be permanently placed inside the chosen book. In the event that we already have the chosen book in our collection, a bookplate will be placed in the existing book and an additional book will be purchased with your contribution. A birthday note acknowledging your gift will be given to your child and you will be emailed a receipt for your tax-deductible contribution.
